Scholarship

In partnership with Holberton School Mauritius, a world-class tech school founded in Silicon Valley, the Fondation Joseph Lagesse is proud to offer 2 types of scholarships to become a Software Engineer in AI, Cybersecurity or Big Data, starting the 6th of October 2025.

  • Standard tuition is Rs 270,000 / year — and the Scholarship can cover up to 100% through our partner Fondation Joseph Lagesse if you meet their eligibility criteria.

  • This is a performance-based scholarship: you take one online assessment, get a global score, and the highest scores unlock the highest funding.

  • Your test evaluates your searching skills (how you find, verify, and use information fast), your logic skills (how you solve problems and spot patterns), and your motivation (your drive, consistency, and commitment).

Full Scholarship ×2 students

100% Tuition Covered for the 2 year program

Rs 540,000

We are offering 2 full scholarships for this 2-year program, each worth (Rs 270,000 x 2 years = Rs 540,000), covering 100% of tuition fees.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be an IBL Group employee’s child aged 16 or above and unemployed.
  • Have a gross monthly income of less than Rs 50,000 (Confirmation to be provided by IBL Human Capital to FJL).

Important note:

ONLY the top 2 candidates will be offered the two-year scholarships based on their Holberton Entry Test results and Interview.

Partial Scholarship × Up to 10

We are also offering up to 10 partial scholarships, each granting a Rs 50,000 reduction* on tuition fees for each year amounting to Rs 100,000 for the 2 years.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be the child of an IBL Group employee aged 16 or above and unemployed.
  • Rank among the top 10 candidates based on your test results and interview

Important note:

You’ll only pay Rs 220,000/year instead of Rs 270,000 for a world-class, career-accelerating education — with flexible installment options to make it easier.

* The reduction cannot be claimed in cash and for other Holberton School Mauritius Curriculum, this is a reduction for the 9-month Intensive Software Engineering Program + the specialization year (AI, Cyber Security, Big Data or Full Stack Developer) starting the 2nd of March 2026 only. The reduction of Rs 50,000 will be applied each year as a reduction of the monthly tuition fees and applicable after the full payment of the deposit fees of Rs 60,000.
